In her free time, Dr. Anaya enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
Dr. Yanett Anaya was born and raised in Houston. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then returned home to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was elected to serve as chief resident in her final year. Following her residency, she completed fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Anaya’s research interests include endometriosis and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Anaya has a special clinical interest in infertility, assisted reproduction, fertility preservation, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, premature ovarian failure and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Anaya sees patients at the Fannin and Katy locations. She is fluent in Spanish.
